Trust & Obedience: An Inductive Study of Elijah

Do you want to trust God more? Do you want to have a better prayer life? Look to learn from Elijah, the Lord’s prophet who modeled faithfulness, prayer, and boldness in the face of uncertainty. May you be enamored with God as you endeavor to understand the life and faith of the prophet Elijah. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours--- you will be able to relate to the ups and downs of his life. Consider his life of trust and obedience as you are led through an inductive study of Elijah’s faith. Elijah’s faith was intriguing and imperfect, counter-cultural and relevant to our own faith--- he had a nature like you. Throughout this six-week study, you will be confronted with faith, fear, disappointment, doubts, victory, compassion, and the absolute awe of the living God! You will be encouraged to persevere with trust and obedience through your own trials and challenges in your personal faith.
